The FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by regulating radio broadcasting, television, telecommunications, satellites, and cables. It responsible for authorizing and managing the use of radio frequency transmission devices and equipment, except those used by the federal government. This involves ensuring the safety of radio and wire products in more than 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories.
According to the relevant parts of the U.S. Federal Communications RegulationsCFR 47), all electronic products entering the United States (mainly targeting products with working frequencies of 9KHz-3000GHz) to undergo electromagnetic compatibility certification (FCC certification), so FCC certification is mandatory in the United States. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) manages the import and use radio frequency devices, including computers, fax machines, electronic devices, radio receiving and transmitting equipment, radio remote control toys, telephones, personal computers, and other products may pose a risk to personal safety.
