IC certification for wireless products

IC certification introduction:

IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada. As a government agency, IC is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Similar to Midea FCC, IC currently only limits electromagnetic interference.

General regulations: Only compulsory EMI, and the certification method is the same as that of the FCC. Three methods can be used: self-verification, compliance, and certification.IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits) + UPW (UniqLle Product Number, up to 8 digits) Free application, but you must have Canadian representative address information.

IC certification product range:Its responsible products are roughly divided into: broadcasting and television equipment (STS), information technology equipment (STS), radio equipment (STS), telecommunications equipment (STS), engineering and medical equipment, etc.

IC certification notice:Wireless products need to apply for IC (ID) wireless IC certification to make IC. If the customer has not filed at the IC, it will take 5 working days longer than usual.

Wireless IC certification data preparation:

1. Product manual;

2. Circuit diagram, PCB diagram.

Wireless IC certification process:

1. Submit samples, application forms and related materials;

2. Arrange the test;

3. If the test fails, the customer will be notified of rectification, and the test will issue a certificate through the preparation of a report;

4. Receive the certificate report with the balance payment.
